Day 2

I have to write a letter to the registrar's office today. God, I really hate the administration at this school. Their lack or foresight when it comes to budgeting, and student welfare, will come back to bight them in the ass. They deserve it. Bastards. They complain about the budget deficit, while the President (who avoids meeting with concerned student groups) makes over $400k a year, and the board members (there are 12), all make over $200k. They have raised lock-in student fees by over $500 dollars over the last 2 years. They don't know how to budget their money. They have decided to remodel our (in my opinion) perfectly fine university center, costing over $800k. Our school is facing a $4 million deficit. It seems to me that they have some serious issues they need to address. Bastards.

In other news...the SF Giants won last night!! Always a plus. Granted, I don't have television, so I didn't get to watch it. However, MLB has a "real time" pitch by pitch computer video. It's really boring, and I have such a slow connection, I have massive lag. Not worth it. *sigh*

In short, I am going nuts, one day at a time.

We'll see how this goes

I really have no idea what I am doing here. I suppose it is a good thing to write out your thoughts, look back on your day, see how it went. I have never been very good at keeping a journal... We shall see how this goes

So, recently my roommate has gotten me into trashy romance novels. I don't know how I did it, but I read romance novels for about 5 months before I found one that was so bad, I couldn't read past the first 10 pages. It wasn't that the plot sucked, her style and characters were just horrible. The characters were eew, I really don't want to think about them. The two authors that I have found that are fairly good, are Julia Quinn and Karen Marie Moning (pronounce "moaning". I kid you not, and that is her actual last name. Obviously destined to become a romance novelist.

I truly believe that this is going to be the best avenue for procrastination yet. I really don't need any help in that department. I am a pro at procrastinating. A master. Oh well, I'm sure I'll start procrastinating when it comes to updating this, so it will all work out in the end.
